Texas High School Basketball - Hawley thwarts Haskell
February 6, 2024: Hawley, TX 79525 The Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX), 51-42 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bearcats (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Hamlin (Hamlin, TX). The Pied Pipers go into the 2A Region II District 10 test with a 9-20 record. In their last test, Hamlin went down by Cisco (Cisco, TX), 88-53, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Hamlin for a 2A Region II District 10 test on Tuesday, February 13. Haskell will encounter a Pied Pipers squad coming off a 80-43 league loss to Hawley (Hawley, TX). The Pied Pipers record now stands at 9-21.
