February 6, 2024: Whittemore, MI 48770 The Heston Academy Patriots (St. Helen, MI) basketball crushed the host Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals (Whittemore, MI), 52-6 in Tuesday's league test.
The Patriots (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Oscoda (Oscoda, MI). The Owls go into the North Star test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Oscoda was trounced by Alcona (Lincoln, MI), 42-40, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they host Rogers City for a North Star test on Friday, February 9. Whittemore-Prescott will encounter a Hurons squad coming off a 52-35 league win over Mio-Au Sable (Mio, MI). The Hurons record now stands at 4-11.
