February 6, 2024: Reno, NV 89512 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) and the visiting Incline Highlanders (Incline Village, NV), saw Hug's basketball squad knock off Incline by a tally of 60-48.
With the victory, Hug improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Hawks host North Valleys (Reno, NV) to play the Panthers in a 3A Northern - West challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. North Valleys won 59-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV)
Next, the Highlanders encounter the Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) in a 2A Northern test, on Friday, February 9. Incline will attempt to advance on its 18-5 season record. The Longhorns go into the test with a 15-10 record after their 82-59 league win over Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV).
