Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Zurich thwarts Mundelein
February 6, 2024: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 The Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL), 72-54 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bears (18-7) will now prepare for their test against Waukegan (Waukegan, IL). The Bulldogs go into the North Suburban test with a 16-11 record. In their last test, Waukegan went down by Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL), 66-43, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 9-19 record. They play next when they host Lake Forest for a North Suburban test on Friday, February 9. Mundelein will encounter a Scouts squad coming off a 57-39 league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 20-6.
