Virginia High School Basketball - Lebanon overwhelms Tazewell
February 6, 2024: Lebanon, VA 24266 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) and the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA), saw Lebanon's basketball squad wallop Tazewell by a count of 78-51.
With the victory, Lebanon upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Grundy (Grundy, VA) to play the Golden Wave in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Golden Wave come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Grundy lost 73-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain Mission (Grundy, VA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) in a Southwest challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Tazewell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Scarlet Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 84-57 league win over Richlands (Richlands, VA).
