Maine High School Basketball - Mount View knocked off by Lincoln Academy
February 6, 2024: Thorndike, ME 04986 The Lincoln Academy Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Mount View Mustangs to 45 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morse for a B South contest on Thursday, February 8. Lincoln Academy will battle a Shipbuilders team coming off a 58-44 non-league win over Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Shipbuilders record now stands at 6-11.
The Mustangs (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Winslow (Winslow, ME). The Black Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Winslow was defeated by Oceanside (Rockland, ME), 68-51, in a non-league contest.
