February 6, 2024: Lanham, MD 20706 The Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Rock Creek Christian Academy Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD), 79-72 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (24-12) will now prepare for their test against Friendship Tech Prep Academy (Washington, DC). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 18-4 record. In their last test, Friendship Tech Prep Academy got by Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC), 58-28, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 16-8 record. They play next when they host Riverdale Baptist for a Metro Private test on Thursday, February 8. Rock Creek Christian Academy will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 63-59 league win over Shabach Christian Academy Blue (Landover, MD). The Crusaders record now stands at 21-14.
