February 6, 2024: Pittsburg, TX 75686 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) and the host Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, TX), saw Pleasant Grove's basketball squad wallop Pittsburg by a tally of 58-31.
With the victory, Pleasant Grove improves its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Hawks host Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Region II District 15 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 15-16. Sulphur Springs lost 51-46 in their recent league challenge against North Lamar (Paris, TX)
