Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Covington Lions (Covington, LA), 60-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Northshore upgrades its record to 22-10 on the season. The Panthers host Slidell (Slidell, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A District 6 bout on Friday, February 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-6.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Covington will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 6-16 record after their 53-14 league loss to Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA).
