The South Lyon East Cougars basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Milford Mavericks to 30 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Lyon for a Lakes Valley contest on Friday, February 9. South Lyon East will meet a Lions team coming off a 44-36 league win over Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Lions record now stands at 16-1.
