West Virginia High School Basketball - South Charleston overwhelmed by Nitro

February 6, 2024: Nitro, WV 25143

The Nitro Wildcats basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles to 37 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoover for a Cardinal contest on Wednesday, February 7. Nitro will battle a Huskies team coming off a 58-12 non-league loss to Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 5-12.

The Black Eagles (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders come into the Mountain State contest with a 7-9 record.
