Seymour Warriors (Seymour, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs (Orient, IA), 50-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Seymour upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Warriors travel to Moravia (Moravia, IA) to play the Mohawks in a Bluegrass bout on Thursday, February 8. The Mohawks go into the bout with a record of 4-15. Moravia lost 36-21 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Murray Mustangs (Murray, IA) in a Bluegrass bout, on Thursday, February 8. Orient-Macksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 68-30 league loss to Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA).
