Oklahoma High School Basketball - Owasso overwhelms Putnam City
February 6, 2024: Owasso, OK 74055 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Owasso Rams (Owasso, OK) and the visiting Putnam City Pirates (Oklahoma City, OK), saw Owasso's basketball squad wallop Putnam City by a count of 67-40.
With the victory, Owasso upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Bartlesville (Bartlesville, OK) to play the Bruins in a 6A District 3 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Bartlesville lost 63-25 in their recent league challenge against Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK)
Next up, the Pirates play the Union Redhawks (Tulsa, OK) in a 6A District 3 challenge, on Friday, February 9. Putnam City will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 37-33 league loss to Charles Page (Sand Springs, OK).
