The Walkersville Lions basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the visiting Williamsport Wildcats to 32 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Urbana for a Central Maryland contest on Friday, February 9. Walkersville will battle a Hawks team coming off a 62-30 league loss to Frederick (Frederick, MD). The Hawks record now stands at 6-11.

The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tuscarora (Frederick, MD). The Titans come into the Central Maryland contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Tuscarora edged Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD), 54-41, in a league contest.
