February 6, 2024: Leland, NC 28451 The New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) basketball crushed the host North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), 45-24 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (14-0) will now prepare for their test against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Laney walloped South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 82-22, in a non-league test.
The Scorpions now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Brunswick for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. North Brunswick will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 33-30 non-league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 9-7.
