The Pisgah Bears basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers to 40 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Henderson for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Pisgah will battle a Eagles team coming off a 47-38 non-league loss to North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-7.

The Mountaineers (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Smoky Mountain was defeated by Franklin (Franklin, NC), 55-36, in a non-league contest.
