February 6, 2024: Grass Valley, CA 95945 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) and the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), saw Ponderosa's soccer squad beat Nevada Union by a margin of 5-1.
The Bruins now sport a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pioneer for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Ponderosa will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Nevada Union drops to 1-13 on the season.
