In Thursday's league test, the Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) basketball squad trounced the visiting Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD), by a score of 87-61.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Severna Park Falcons (Severna Park, MD) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 10. Laurel will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 12-5 record after their 55-39 league win over Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD).
