The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS) and the host Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS), observed Brandon's basketball team overwhelm Meridian by a margin of 53-24.

The Bulldogs (17-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Pearl (Pearl, MS). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 21-7 record. In their last challenge, Pearl trounced Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS), 61-51, in a non-league challenge.
