Wes-Del Warriors (Gaston, IN) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN), 61-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Wes-Del advances its record to 7-9 on the year. The Warriors host Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN) to face the Argylls in a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. The Argylls enter the match with a record of 5-9. Madison-Grant lost 48-41 in their recent non-league match against Bluffton (Bluffton, IN)

The Comets now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northfield for a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. Eastern will face a Norsemen squad coming off a 76-46 league loss to Manchester (North Manchester, IN). The Norsemen record now stands at 7-8.
