The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) and the visiting Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), observed Floyd County's basketball team edge Glenvar by a score of 75-74.

The Buffaloes (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats come into the Three Rivers challenge with a 9-12 record. In their last challenge, Radford edged James River (Buchanan, VA), 64-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Friday, February 7. Glenvar will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record.
