In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Magnolia Blue Eagles basketball team scored a big 80-47 triumph over the Trinity Christian Warriors.

The Blue Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV). The Crusaders go into the Little Kanawha - West contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Parkersburg Catholic was trounced by Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV), 51-44, in a non-league contest.
