Illinois High School Basketball - Marquette thwarts Parkview Christian Academy
February 6, 2025: Yorkville, IL 60560 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) and the host Parkview Christian Academy Falcons (Yorkville, IL), observed Marquette's basketball team knock off Parkview Christian Academy by a score of 63-52.
The Crusaders (13-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL). The Mallards come into the Tri-County challenge with a 5-18 record. In their last challenge, Henry-Senachwine prevailed over Putnam County (Granville, IL), 67-54, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Parkview Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-14 season record. The Conquerors come into the challenge with a 15-12 record after their 85-69 non-league loss to Taft (Chicago, IL).
