The Pike Central Chargers basketball squad (Petersburg, IN), was crushed 61-40 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN)

With the victory, North Posey advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL) to meet the Golden Aces in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Golden Aces enter the battle with a record of 6-18. Mt. Carmel lost 68-25 in their recent non-league battle against Marion (Marion, IL)

The Chargers now own a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evansville Mater Dei for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. Pike Central will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-43 non-league loss to Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-13.
