In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Shoshoni Wranglers basketball team scored a close 52-49 triumph over the Wyoming Indian .

The Wranglers (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Kemmerer (Kemmerer, WY). The Rangers go into the non-league contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Kemmerer was tipped by Mountain View (Mountain View, WY), 61-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the battle the Wind River Cougars (Pavillion, WY) in a 2A Southwest contest, on Friday, February 7. Wyoming Indian will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 1-15 record after their 45-20 non-league win over Saratoga (Saratoga, WY).
