February 6, 2025: Allen Park, MI 48101 Allen Park Jaguars (Allen Park, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI), 29-16 in a league match.
With the victory, Allen Park upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Garden City (Garden City, MI) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 4-15. Garden City lost 50-16 in their recent league match against Thurston (Redford, MI)
The Thunderbirds now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodhaven for a Downriver match on Monday, February 10. Edsel Ford will face a Warriors squad coming off a 48-8 league win over Anderson (Southgate, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 11-5.
