Georgia High School Basketball - Strong Rock Christian knocks off Covenant Academy

February 6, 2025: Locust Grove, GA 30248

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Strong Rock Christian Patriots (Locust Grove, GA) and the visiting Covenant Academy Rams (Macon, GA), observed Strong Rock Christian's basketball team overcome Covenant Academy by a margin of 40-25.

The Patriots (18-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA). The Knights come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 5 challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Calvary Christian dropped by Westfield School (Perry, GA), 37-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Twiggs Academy Trojans (Jeffersonville, GA) in a GIAA A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Covenant Academy will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 54-32 non-league loss to Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA).
