With the victory, Waverly-Shell Rock upgrades its record to 17-3 on the year. The Go-Hawks travel to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 14-6. Aplington-Parkersburg won 52-32 in their recent non-league match against Union (La Porte City, IA)
The Cyclones now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Hardin for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Denver will face a Tigers squad coming off a 41-31 non-league loss to Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-12.
