The Sherman Tide defeated the host Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders basketball squad by a final score of 58-44 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Tide clash with the Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV) in a Coalfield A outing, on Saturday, February 8. Sherman will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 4-7 record after their 38-34 league loss to Montcalm (Montcalm, WV).
