Virginia High School Basketball - Hurley bests Holston
February 6, 2025: Damascus, VA 24236 The Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA) basketball toppled the host Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA), 46-26 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Grundy for a Black Diamond bout on Friday, February 7. Hurley will play a Golden Wave team coming off a 78-77 non-league loss to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY). The Golden Wave record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Holston falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA) to play the Warriors in a Hogoheegee bout on Friday, February 7. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Chilhowie lost 35-14 in their recent league bout against Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA)
