February 6, 2025: New Lothrop, MI 48460 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) and the visiting Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI), observed New Lothrop's basketball team knock off Lakeville by a score of 43-29.
The Hornets (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI). The Rams come into the Mid-Michigan challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, Hill-McCloy prevailed over Chesaning (Chesaning, MI), 42-32, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a Mid-Michigan challenge, on Monday, February 10. Lakeville will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 57-10 league loss to Durand (Durand, MI).
