West Virginia High School Basketball - Wood County Christian knocks off Valley
February 6, 2025: Williamstown, WV 26187 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Wood County Christian Wildcat basketball team scored a good 63-46 win over the Valley Lumberjacks.
The Wildcat (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Grace Christian (Huntington, WV). The come into the West Virginia Christian - AA contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Grace Christian was topped by Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV), 58-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lumberjacks battle the Trinity Christian Warriors (Morgantown, WV) in a Mason-Dixon contest, on Friday, February 7. Valley will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 60-29 non-league win over Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV).
