February 6, 2025: Fredericksburg, VA 22401 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) and the visiting Chancellor Chargers (Fredericksburg, VA), observed James Monroe's basketball team overwhelm Chancellor by a score of 40-18.
The Yellow Jackets (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-11 record. In their last challenge, Courtland was routed by Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA), 28-27, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Chancellor will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record.
