The Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), 50-32 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. Nansemond River will play a Hawks team coming off a 51-34 non-league loss to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Lakeland falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-4.
