February 6, 2025: Scales Mound, IL 61075 Scales Mound Hornets (Scales Mound, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Galena Pirates (Galena, IL), 43-35 in a league match.
With the victory, Scales Mound upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to River Ridge (Hanover, IL) to face the Wildcats in a match on Thursday, February 20. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 3-3.
The Pirates now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fulton for a non-league match on Friday, February 7.
