In Friday's league test, the Bedford Kicking Mules (Temperance, MI) basketball squad defeated the visiting Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI), by a final score of 54-40.

Next, the Kicking Mules clash with the Skyline Eagles (Ann Arbor, MI) in a Southeastern - Red test, on Wednesday, February 11. Bedford will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 5-12 record after their 52-49 non-league win over North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI).

With the loss, Monroe falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH) to play the Green Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, February 9.
