The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT) and the host Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT), observed Timpview's basketball team overwhelm Spanish Fork by a score of 77-45.

The Thunderbirds (19-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wasatch (Heber City, UT). The Wasps come into the 5A Region 7 challenge with a 19-3 record. In their last challenge, Wasatch trounced Payson (Payson, UT), 88-74, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dons encounter the Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) in a 5A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 10. Spanish Fork will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 58-55 league win over Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT).
