In Monday's league match, the host Ellicott Thunderhawks basketball team scored a decisive 50-17 triumph over the Salida Spartans.

In their next game, the Thunderhawks meet the St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 3A Tri-Peaks match, on Saturday, February 12. Ellicott will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record.
