The Prospect Mountain Timberwolves basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Gilford Golden Eagles to 30 in the Timberwolves league victory on Monday.

The Timberwolves now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host White Mountains for a Division III contest on Friday, February 11. Prospect Mountain will battle a Spartans team coming off a 32-28 non-league loss to Littleton (Littleton, NH). The Spartans record now stands at 7-5.

The Golden Eagles (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Berlin (Berlin, NH). The Mountaineers come into the Division III contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Berlin dropped by Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH), 56-35, in a league contest.
