February 7, 2022: Philipsburg, PA 16866 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) and the host Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), saw Hollidaysburg's basketball squad wallop Philipsburg-Osceola by a tally of 71-12.
With the victory, Hollidaysburg improves its record to 18-0 on the campaign. The Golden Tigers host Altoona (Altoona, PA) to confront the Mountain Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 9. The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Altoona won 52-25 in their recent league challenge against Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA)
Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA) in a Mountain challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Bald Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 56-50 league loss to Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA).
