Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) and the host Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL), saw Normal University's basketball squad knock off Jacksonville by a tally of 44-35.

With the victory, Normal University improves its record to 12-15 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Lanphier (Springfield, IL) to play the Lions in a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-13.
