Wisconsin High School Basketball - Southwestern overwhelms Argyle
February 7, 2023: Hazel Green, WI 53811 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI) and the visiting Argyle Orioles (Argyle, WI), saw Southwestern's basketball squad wallop Argyle by a tally of 77-45.
With the victory, Southwestern improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Boscobel (Boscobel, WI) to confront the Bulldogs in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Boscobel won 84-83 in their recent non-league challenge against Shullsburg (Shullsburg, WI)
Next up, the Orioles confront the Albany Comets (Albany, WI) in a Six Rivers - East challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Argyle will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 3-18 record after their 42-22 non-league loss to Palmyra-Eagle (Palmyra, WI).
