Illinois High School Basketball - New Berlin crushes Auburn
February 7, 2023: New Berlin, IL 62670 New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL), 55-22 in a league bout.
With the win, New Berlin upgrades its record to 22-5 on the season. The Pretzels host Riverton (Riverton, IL) to play the Hawks in a Sangamo bout on Friday, February 10. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 9-18. Riverton lost 49-47 in their recent league bout against Athens (Athens, IL)
Next up, the Trojans play the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL) in a Sangamo bout, on Friday, February 10. Auburn will attempt to upgrade on its 20-7 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 13-14 record after their 59-36 league loss to Williamsville (Williamsville, IL).
