Washington, DC High School Basketball - Capital City Public Charter School over Washington Leadership Academy
February 7, 2023: Washington, DC 20017 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Capital City Public Charter School EAGLES (Washington, DC) and the host Washington Leadership Academy (Washington, DC), saw Capital City Public Charter School's basketball squad overcome Washington Leadership Academy by a tally of 67-57.
With the victory, Capital City Public Charter School improves its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The EAGLES host Don Bosco Cristo Rey (Takoma Park, MD) to confront the Wolfpack in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. Don Bosco Cristo Rey lost 76-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD)
Next up, the confront the DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) in a PCSAA A challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Washington Leadership Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 57-31 league win over Washington Latin Public Charter School (Washington, DC).
