Arkansas High School Basketball - Charleston nips Paris
February 7, 2023: Charleston, AR 72933 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Charleston Tigers (Charleston, AR) and the visiting Paris Eagles (Paris, AR), saw Charleston's basketball squad hold off Paris by a tally of 62-59.
With the victory, Charleston improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hackett (Hackett, AR) to play the Hornets in a 3A Region 4 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Hackett lost 48-45 in their recent league challenge against Cedarville (Cedarville, AR)
Next up, the Eagles play the Cedarville Pirates (Cedarville, AR) in a 3A Region 4 challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Paris will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 48-45 league win over Hackett (Hackett, AR).
