The Covington Cougars basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Narrows Green Waves to 68 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parry McCluer for a Pioneer contest on Thursday, February 9. Covington will meet a Fighting Blues team coming off a 68-42 league win over Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Fighting Blues record now stands at 14-8.
