February 7, 2023: Wayne, NJ 07470 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ) and the visiting St. Joseph Regional Green Knights (Montvale, NJ), saw DePaul Catholic's basketball squad hold off St. Joseph Regional by a tally of 55-54.
With the victory, DePaul Catholic improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Spartans host Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ) to confront the Crusaders in a Big North - United challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Bergen Catholic lost 67-55 in their recent league challenge against Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ)
Next up, the Green Knights confront the Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. St. Joseph Regional will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 63-27 non-league win over Cape May County Tech (Cape May Court House, NJ).
