Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shady Side Academy nipped by Derry
February 7, 2023: Derry, PA 15627 The Derry Trojans tipped the visiting Shady Side Academy Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 65-59 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 9. Derry will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 4-15 record after their 55-38 league win over Marion Center (Marion Center, PA).
With the defeat, Shady Side Academy moves to 15-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA) to face the Lancers in a WPIAL 3A 3 game on Friday, February 10.
