Tennessee High School Basketball - Forrest ripped by Fayetteville
February 7, 2023: Fayetteville, TN 37334 The Fayetteville Tigers basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Forrest Rockets to 43 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Fayetteville will battle a Rebels team coming off a 61-55 non-league win over Cascade (Wartrace, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 12-13.
The Rockets (2-21) will now prepare for their contest against Cascade (Wartrace, TN). The Champions enter the 2A District 7 contest with a 22-5 record. In their last contest, Cascade was routed by Franklin County (Winchester, TN), 61-55, in a non-league contest.
