The Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Hahnville Tigers to 48 in the Cajuns non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cajuns now sport a 24-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cohen for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Metairie Park Country Day will battle a Green Hornets team coming off a 67-57 league loss to Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA). The Green Hornets record now stands at 4-15.

The Tigers (14-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bourgeois (Gray, LA). The Braves enter the 5A District 7 contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Bourgeois ran past Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA), 66-46, in a league contest.
